Howdy...

After several years of dragging my heels, I've finally decided to join the blogging world! I've been sewing since I was 6 years old, when I got my very first sewing machine for Christmas! This wasn't a dinky kid's machine, it was a REAL sewing machine just like my mom's! I was soo excited to learn to sew, and can still remember sitting down at that machine with my mom and making my very first project, a cover for that brand new "grown-up" machine! Ever since then, I've been sewing away...mostly making clothes for myself, but also sewing for my home, friends, and kids! My absolute favorite thing to make/wear are dresses. I love that you can put one on and instantly feel fabulous!

This week I'm going to show you some of my absolute favorites that I've made myself, starting with this sassy dress!I'll follow up with all the details tomorrow. Right now I've got a little one to feed.
